The big question on everyone’s mind is when will Hillary Clinton concede the Democratic presidential nomination to Barack Obama. Even with Michigan and Florida votes being allowed back in the contest with half of their voting power I don’t believe Hillary Clinton has a chance of winning her party’s nomination.
The fact that the Democratic Party only allowed half of Michigan and Florida’s votes to count was really crushing to Hillary’s campaign. Her hopes were to get the full voting power of those two states full restore to put here in the lead of the popular vote. Hillary Clinton did go into today’s Puerto Rico primary election with a lead over Barach Obama according to most election poles. I doubt that even if she wins the primary election in Puerto Rico that she has a snowballs chance of winning her party’s nomination for president. With only two primary elections left after Puerto Rico Barack Obama only needs about 66 delegates to secure the nomination I believe. Many in the Democratic Party have been putting the pressure on Hillary Clinton to Concede so that the party can mend its wounds and begin the battle against the Republican Party and John McCain. With only South Dakota and Montana left to hold their primary elections next Tuesday after Puerto Rico’s primary today, Hillary will have no choice but to concede and accept the fact that Barack Obama is her party’s choice for the Presidential nomination. It was a hard fought fight Hillary but its time to give up and put the power of the Clinton political machine behind the soon to be announce Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama.
