The midsummer fire festival began on Jun21st. This is one of the many unique festivals that take place in the World of Warcraft online game. The midsummer fire festival is meant to bring renewed excitement to break up the everyday World of Warcraft grind. There are many unique quests, both daily and chain type quests that are brought about by the midsummer fire festival as well as special bosses to kill. Ahune the Frost Lord is one just boss that will hand out very nice loot during the midsummer fire festival to all those that defeat him. If your looking to buy some of the midsummer fire festival rewards you’ll need to stock up on burning blossoms. burning blossoms are the currency used to purchase special World of Warcraft midsummer fire festival items from festival vendors. Other activities durning the midsummer festival include tossing torches, catching torches, dancing around the ribbon pole, fire in the sky and others I’ll let you discover. World of warcraft has truley tried its best to keep the players attention with regular holiday and seasonal festivals like the midsummer fire festival and by the number of subscribers I’d say they are doing a good job

Yeah the midsummer fire festival makes for some interesting alternatives to the regular WoW game play. I like doing all the quests for the festival gear. Not all of the midsummer festival rewards are worth the hassel but its still fun anyway

Scott, Thanks for stopping. I have played Wow for a few years and really enjoy the midsummer fire festival, winter fest and other different seasonal events on world of warcraft.

I dont do the festival quests in WoW for leveling as much as I do for pure enjoyment of the new content to the game. There are easier ways of leveling a character in World of Warcraft in my opinion
